Rally China dropped from the WRC 2017 calendar

The official 2017 FIA World Rally Championship calendar was announced last week. Next year the season will spread through 11 months, January to November. September is the only month in the season we won’t see a rally. The 2017 season comprises the same 13 rounds as the 2016 season. The 2016 season was supposed to have 14 rounds but Rally China was cancelled due to heavy damage on the rally routes. Now Rally China has been officially dropped from the 2017 calendar, but the organisers hope they’ll be back in the 2018 calendar.
