So the 2017 Audi A5/S5 was revealed late last year. Now that we are starting to see them on the roads, we thought it would be a good idea to give you a full run down of the full statistics on the S5.
The new S5’s styling has made us petrol head enthusiasts fall in love all over again with the A5 and S5 with its subtle yet noticeable facelift changes, making the car look more elegant whilst still being able to destroy most other cars off the line at traffic lights. Inside as with all Audi’s the quality is excellent, with Sat-Nav and a digital display as standard.
The S5 comes in three different variants, the S5 Coupe, S5 Sportback and the S5 Cabriolet. They all come with a all new turbocharged 3.0-litre V6. This is replacing the old 3.0-litre supercharged V6. The new powertrain puts out a competitive 349bhp with an impressive 500Nm of torque.
The new turbo-engine in the S5 will propel this saloon to 60 in less than five seconds, 4.7s to be exact. however, all this performance does come at a price with the S5 starting at £47,000 with no optional extras. However, on the plus side, it is still an economical car with Audi claiming it to have a combined mpg of 38.2 mpg.
