Say Hello to the 2018 Alpine A110!, staying true to it’s concept routes of last year the design is absolutely stunning. It’s a stunning little lightweight sports car which rivals cars such as the Alfa 4C, it contains a 1.8litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 252bhp capable of propelling it to 62mph in just 4.5 seconds. It weighs just 1,080kg meaning it has a power to weight ratio of 233hp/tonne! it is mated to a 7-speed wet clutch DCT transmission, and comes with three driver modes “Normal” for comfortable settings, “sport” for those pesky little back roads and “Race” for when you decide to go for a run at LeMans, these buttons change the engine and gearbox settings, steering, ESC, exhaust note and driver display.
The design is very like the old car back in the 60s, with those round LED headlights the curved rear windscreen and the small LED taillights make the A110 looks like a proper little sports car, materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium not only make it light but also make it look very sporty. The Première Edition will be limited and roll out throughout this year until all 1,955 are made, then there will be several options and customisable configurations available, unfortunately we won’t see them in the UK, we will get the ordinary ones in 2018 and the Alpine A110 will cost around £50,000 is expensive but it is one french beauty that comes from a legendary car!
