Ferrari are set to bring a major update to their Formula One engine to the British Grand Prix, which is just two races away. The team will be hoping that it will be a boost for their season long battle with the resurgent Mercedes.
The information was discovered by journalist James Allen, who is one of the most experiences and insightful broadcasters and journalists currently working in Formula One. This will be the third engine of the season for Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikonnen, the former of which who had a scare with his engine change in Baku.
His older engine had already completed around 5000km, meaning that Vettel lost some performance on the 2.2km straight in Baku. It has also been confirmed that Vettel will run that same engine in Austria, before his updated engine comes to the British Grand Prix.
