Cam Waters signs new deal with Prodrive

Prodrive Racing Australia have today announced that Cameron Waters will continue with the team for at least the next two seasons.

The news comes amid speculation that former GP2 and Aston Martin WEC driver Richie Stanaway was looking at a race seat in a Prodrive Falcon for the 2018 season.

After a disappointing 2016 season, Waters has stepped up this season with several solid performances earning him 10th place in the championship before the start of the endurance season.

The 23-year-old is a former development series champion and is tipped to be one of the big stars of the future.

Stanaway on the other has the remainder of the 2017 development season to impress potential suitors for a main game drive in 2018 and beyond.

The Kiwi will be joining Waters for the Endurance season which kicks off on September 8th at Sandown Raceway for the annual Sandown 500.
