Power leads Penske 1 2 3 at Alabama

Three times Champion, Will Power, leads a team Penske 1, 2, 3 ahead of team mates, Helio Castroneves and reigning Champion, Simon Pagenaud for the Honda Indy Grand Pix of Alabama.

The Australian secured his 8th pole position and will hope to take his 2nd victory at the Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama on Sunday.

Four times Champion, Scott Dixon qualified in 4th ahead of fellow Honda powered drivers, Ryan Hunter-Reay and James Hinchcliffe, who round out the Firestone Fast Six.

The fourth Penske driver, Joesef Newgarden, will only start in 7th after being eliminated in the second round of qualifying.

Former F1 driver and Indy 500 winner, Alexander Rossi only managed to qualify 18th.

Zach Veach, who is filling in for JR Hildebrand after he broke his hand at the Long Beach round, qualified in 19th.

The 2017 Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama takes place at the Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama on Sunday the 23rd of April at 8:30 p.m. BST.
