McLaren have denied that technological giants Apple have approached them about an investment or potential negotiations.
Rumours have circulated the sport and according to The Financial Times they have knowledge of possible negotiations.
The British Formula 1 Team have said they have not spoken to Apple about a possible investment but did say they are in confidential conversations with many parties.
The deal could see Apple have full control of the automotive section of the company, as they are in the developmental stage of their driverless car.
Apple’s investment into McLaren could be a huge development in Formula 1 and for the technology industry.
McLaren Honda have struggled since the Hybrid regulations in 2014 but with a drastic change in the regulations next season, the new pairing of Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne could see McLaren at their strongest.
