Okay, so I only seen this today but it’s been out for a few months now, not in production just known about. However here is W Motors new hypercar called the Fenyr Supersport and it looks stunningly futuristic and complex! It is also named after the most aggressive and vicious wolf in mythology.
For those of you who don’t know the car company W Motors then here’s a little back story. W Motors was created in Beirut, Lebanon in 2012 by Ralph Debbas who then moved to Dubai in 2013, then in 2014 in Monaco they unveiled the Lykan Hypersport the rarest and most expensive production car ever! only 4 were ever built and were sold at $3.4Million each! If you’ve ever watched Fast & Furious 7 then that’s the red car that you see being jumped between two skyscrapers in Dubai before Vin Diesel jumps out and the Lykan falls 500ft to it’s death, and yes it wasn’t a real hypersport it was just a shell!
Anyway in 2016 they have created this new beast! the stats are these, it’s a 4.0litre flat 6 with two turbo’s strapped to it, the engine is mid mounted and was engineered by RUF in Germany. The engine is mated to a 7 speed double clutch gearbox and is rear mounted to give superb weight distribution, the cars body is made from carbon fibre which is on top of an aluminium chassis and weighs just 1200kg! the performance? 900bhp! 0-62mph in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed 249mph! it’s certainly not slow! the engineering in this car is pretty incredible with 6 piston calliper ventilated cross drilled brakes makes for eminence stopping power, multi-link suspension system with horizontal coil over shock absorbers for optimum corning capabilities and a “Triptych active spoiler” which has 3 independent moving parts for aerodynamics and for stability at high speed.
So the price? hmm well considering lykan hypersports (the older model) are rumoured to be trading at 8-10 Million! it’s safe to say this car will be well out of the price range for 99% of us! for that 1% out there, well a massive profit could be made here! I know I would buy one! but I’m going to concentrate on seeing one instead of buying one for me! Even that’s a challenge in itself!
