Louis Delétraz (Fortec Motorsports) was handled a 10 second penalty post-race for a collision with Tom Dillmann (AVF) and ended up out of the points, dealing some damage to his title bid.

Jack Aitken started on pole, although under appeal due to a technical infringement, and had an absolute shambles, barely getting away and dropping back to the rear of the field. the race was relatively quiet until the huge flashpoint, where on Lap 16, Delétraz and Dillmann were fighting for fourth place when the Swissman went to the inside Of Dillmann, but botched the move and cost himself not only the penalty, but also ended Dillmann’s race.

The safety car came out leaving a short dash to the line for the final few minutes of the race. On lap 20, Vaxiviere overtook Deletraz to take back third place, but this was the end of the action and Isaakyan took a well-deserved victory.
