WestCoast Racing will switch from the Honda Civic they have campaigned for the past two seasons to the championship winning Volkswagon Golf for the 2017 TCR International Series.
The Swedish squad announced at the end of last season they would ditch the Hondas but remained tight lipped on which car they would run for 2017 until now.
The team have also for now appeared to slim down to two cars from three last season, with former F1 driver and experienced touring car racer Gianni Morbidelli confirmed for his third season with them, alongside sixteen year old Giacomo Altoe, who made his TCR debut last month in the Middle East Series for Top Run Motorsport in their Subaru WRX STI.
There are still many more announcements to come for the TCR International Series, which starts on April 1st in Georgia, however nobody is sure who will use the Honda Civics.
The SEAT Leon and brand new Audi RS3 LMS are rumoured to make up the bulk of the field as more manufacturers commit to building TCR cars.
